Not only will I finally be able to complete my search for the circa 1915 help wanted ad my grandfather Domenic Troisi answered for a job as a cutter at Penn Garment Company—the job that secured his fate and our family’s existence by pulling him from New York City to Williamsport, which is where he met his wife and stayed—but we family members will also be able to read circa 1830 stories about the arrival in Williamsport of German immigrants from the Rhineland, which included the ancestors of Domenic’s wife, our grandmother, Bernardine Beiter.
